Doorsteps is on a mission to change the face of estate agency in the UK by building a world where you can sell your house for less than £100 straight from the comfort of your home.
Our take
Doorsteps is an online estate agency offering reduced fee packages to sell a property. Their product allows home sellers to save thousands of pounds compared to a traditional high street estate agent.
The founder started Doorsteps whilst still in school when he identified a huge gap in the market to offer a much lower-priced service by changing the way estate agencies were set-up. He used a £7,000 loan from his family to launch a platform that combined the human face of high street agents with a unique online infrastructure.
Doorsteps has now marketed tens of thousands of homes with a combined value of £1 billion, showcasing properties on leading property portals such as Rightmove and Zoopla.
