Our take

Many consumers are not satisfied with the products being offered by traditional banks who have proven slow to react to the needs of everyday customers.

Dozens flagship product is its 5% bonds. This sharp focus has allowed them to attract users to the ecosystem, as people want more value from the savings. Whilst their bonds do offer superior returns, it is not a savings product and offers a different risk profile. As a result, there is more education required, and Dozens are doing well to make their product simple and accessible.

Dozens is competing against challenger banks such as Revolut and Monzo, which have gained millions of users in the UK. These brands now have a big head-start in gaining trust of its users, and Dozens needs to continuously evolve to compete.

With newly formed partnerships with ClearBank and Bud, Dozens is set to reach more customers and can offer more services like setting up direct debits, standing orders and will be able to encourage its customers to save money and invest effectively.
