Our take
With just over 700,000 mental health providers in the U.S., there has been a struggle to meet rising demand while keeping the cost of care within reach. The patient experience of accessing support has long been defeating, difficult and disconnected, however change is coming through technology-enabled solutions.
Dr. Katz, Inc, an education platform for psychiatrists, was created with the goal of building a better support system for psychiatric care by improving public health infrastructure, and enabling institutions to make better use of their educational, clinical, and research capabilities. The platform does this by enabling healthcare organizations to scale their mental health practices, improve quality of care, and measure their outcomes.
Due to the growing demand for effective and efficient treatment coupled with increasing awareness regarding new and upgraded technologies, Dr Katz is well positioned to help mental health providers improve their service.
