DrDoctor's mission is to create a platform which catalyses technology-led change in hospitals and healthcare systems.
DrDoctor is transforming the way hospitals and patients communicate. They integrate with existing hospital IT systems (PAS, EHR, radiology) to provide a workflow automation and presentation layer.
For example, patients can book and manage their appointments online or by SMS using DrDoctor. They identify, and target long waiting patients, and automatically book them into empty slots in clinics. Patients fill out digital assessments before or after their appointments, which can then be used to personalise their care pathway. They use the data collected to run analytics, identify at-risk patients and provide earlier interventions.
Together, this provides an end-to-end digital experience for patients. They typically cut time to first contact by 8 days, increase utilisation by 10%, and cut waiting lists by 10-15%. 96% of patients recommend the service, which is used in multiple NHS hospitals and by over 4 million patients annually. DrDoctor's evident effectiveness as a waiting list solution has led to its growth up to Series B funding so far. Its 2023 round is being channeled into expanding its sales and development teams and scaling across the NHS.

In the market, It's hard to find this kind of place that encourages people to learn a lot. We have many special days, weeks and budgets for our education. I've improved my technical and soft skills during my period of work quickly. You may want to go to a conference for a week. Don't need to be stressed. Just tell your manager and do it.

I see this characterised in so many of the staff and they are a great bunch of bright people who want to make a difference. DrDoctor really empathize with people as people not drones or "Resources". Much of the behavior of management is to provide a safe environment with as much HR support as you need. This is shown in the benefits they provide as well as the open communication in all hands. I love the fact that we were offered "Duvet Days" as our sickness rate was so low.
