Recently, virtual reality has become more widely adopted due to both consumer interest and enterprise demand - with heightened realism and growing use-cases two driving factors behind the boom. Dreamscape Immersive is a VR entertainment company delivering free-roaming, location-based experiences at a range of sites across the globe, with adventures from visiting an alien zoo to enlisting in Dragons Flight Academy.
Dreamscape's experience are powered by a groundbreaking VR technique developed in 2016, which combines Hollywood-style motion capture with advanced programming and body mechanics expertise. Through this, it is possible to track six people in real-time and render them as characters in a CG world, uniquely enabling immersive VR to be a group, as opposed to solo, experience.
With a founding team and support system of VR experts as well as prominent entertainment industry names, Dreamscape Immersive has already made strides towards combining movie-level storytelling and theme-park excitement with the help of VR. Interesting to note is the company's 2020 partnership with Arizona State University to launch Dreamscape Learn - a VR-enabled immersive learning experience that has recently raised impressive Series A funds.
