The drone, named “The Black Swan, has proven to carry 350 kg over distances of 2,500 km, for costs that are said to be 50% less than traditional airplanes. While traditional airplanes aren’t solely built for deliveries, Dronamics goods transportation method is - meaning it has found an empty space in the market.
The company had a successful initial launch flight in May 2023 and has generated a good amount of buzz around the product. With funding secured, Dronamics looks to be heading for commercial operations in the very near future.
