To help Roadside Assistance Providers transform their operations and create exciting new mobility related products and services.
Roadside breakdowns are a persistent source of pain for any business, with delayed deliveries and vehicle recovery being a major cost in operations. Drvn Solutions, founded in an international colloboration between motoring bodies AA, ANWB and ÖAMTC, aims to change that. Taking advantage of modern vehicles' ability to autonomously provide data related to faults and battery status, Drvn builds a model that can predict breakdowns which can be used by roadside assistance companies to produce new services.
Founded in 2016, Drvn has already analysed over 1.2 million breakdowns and managed 40 million trips connected on its platform. Its main strength is in its Europe-wide scope, as this allows it access to a wider range of data collected under differing operating conditions, and because vehicle manufacturers and other stakeholders can access this data through a central source rather than negotiating with each nation's automobile association.
Currently Drvn has coverage over the UK, Austria, the Netherlands, the Nordic region, Denmark, Italy and Romania. In the longer term it hopes to expand its services to all automotive associations across the continent.
