Our take

Ever since the COVID pandemic triggered what was known as “the great resignation”, fashion companies have been scrambling to improve what has traditionally been a rigid, complicated and long-winded recruitment process. Indeed, hybrid working, low pay and low ceilings for advancement have meant the fashion industry is struggling to keep up with the pace of modern recruitment, whether that be on the shop floor or in office roles.

Dweet wants to shift the paradigm through its AI recruitment platform. It’s software streamlines the recruitment process and aims to remove bias from hiring. At present, it has three products - AI recruitment co-pilot Nova, on-demand retail talent pool Retail Flex and Talent Manager, a talent matching service for corporate, creative and retail hiring.

Ultimately then, as a retail platform focused on the fashion industry, Dweet covers all bases. Its founding team has experience in corporate roles for the likes of Alexander McQueen and Prada, exemplifying a deep understanding of what - and who - the fashion industry needs to thrive.
