The market for crowd analytics and security has been growing rapidly in recent years. Crowd analytics market size was estimated to grow from $385.1 million in 2016 to $5.7 billion by 2030.

DCM is a key competitor in this market. The technology can be used on existing cameras, meaning businesses, stores, arenas and other commercial premises don't need to update their hardware to use DCM tech. Using nifty machine learning and neural networks, DCM is able to provide much faster, accurate data on crowd moods and space management with compliance reporting.

There has been a dramatic shift all over the globe in recent years and people are conscious more than ever to travel on public transports and of being too close to other humans in confined spaces. DCM's technology was used to accurately monitor and analyse social distancing measures.

Having won a share of huge funding from The Department for Transport and partnering with Nomad Digital, the company aims to continue to analyse crowd positions and the general mood without ever having to personally track and identify an individual. With companies resuming events and other large crowd gathering occasions, its highly beneficial to be able to effectively manage crowds and spaces.
