Company mission

To enable every young person in the UK to explore and access a career in the creative industries.

Our take

Primary school pals turned co-founders started ERIC as an alternative careers fair that focused on creative industries. Since the pandemic, they turned their attention to the ERIC app, a digital library of creative careers advice content pulled across the web and centralised on a single app targeted at Generation Z.

ERIC is a growing brand that identified the creative youth's demand for careers information and has run with it. The app’s niche is its strength, tailoring it for Gen Z; the generation of people who have grown up with digital technologies and will make up over quarter of the workforce by 2025. Therefore, the platform intelligently reflects the talent it is looking to reach, both aesthetically and regarding its content, which ranges from ‘how to’ guides to self-help advice.

The app currently only exists in its early stages but its previously successful careers fairs, along with its grasp on an important but perhaps overlooked Gen Z audience, positions it for exciting potential growth.
