Our take

We face two interlinked crises, climate breakdown and ecological collapse. Nature-based solutions like large-scale reforestation may have the power to avert climate chaos by drawing carbon dioxide out of the air whilst also protecting and restoring ecosystems.

Earthly is a platform that helps businesses remove carbon, restore nature and support the communities most impacted by climate change. Unlike other offsets marketplaces, Earthly then brings to life investments and project co-benefits through engaging data visualisation.

The startup is now looking to develop and grow its capacity for financing and developing the most impactful nature-based solutions projects in the voluntary carbon market. That will require building a team with environmental expertise while onboarding even more major climate-conscious businesses.
