Our take
People are becoming increasingly aware of the damage that humans have caused to our planet, and many companies are trying to help by planting forests, switching to sustainable products, and reducing their carbon footprint. However, taking such initiatives usually requires sizeable donations to charities, something that smaller businesses are rarely able to afford.
Ecologi provides monthly subscriptions to individuals and businesses that allow them to take charitable action and become climate positive for as low as £4.70 per month. Subscriptions help fund forests, sustainable energy projects, and other charity work, and in exchange customers receive sustainable thankyou gifts, workforces take climate action, and businesses can encourage purpose in the workplace.
Whilst there are countless charities that individuals and companies can work with to make positive changes to the planet, Ecologi has approached their B Corporation smartly by focusing on simplifying the organization of charity work and minimizing the money that individuals must spend. Recent projects that Ecologi has supported include the protection of the Amazonian rainforest, reforestation in Madagascar, and agricultural volunteering in Vietnam.
