Our take

As the price of petrol skyrockets, digital solutions for easing and controlling the aggressive industry’s product has become necessary, especially in a fragmented marketplace that is under pressure to wind down by governments across the world. EdgePetrol builds software to price petrol, providing retailers with insight, data, and the tools to make better pricing decisions.

Founded and bootstrapped by a former oil trader, EdgePetrol is currently an integral partner for many petrol companies looking to retain their profit margins. However, with mounting pressure to wind down the globe’s reliance on fossil fuels, EdgePetrol should consider expanding its software into renewables in order to stay ahead of competition over the next few years.
