After founders Jonny and Oliver went through unsatisfactory experiences when arranging care for relatives, they decided to set up Edyn to provide a new form of live-in care – one combining human touch with smart technology.
An online care hub connects clients and carers and provides them with live updates and support. Seniors are empowered to stay in their own home knowing that 24-hour support is on hand and each family member gets access to the hub so they can have an overview of what is happening 24/7 – when the carer arrives, leaves and what they’ve done.
Edyn’s carers are comprehensively trained to ensure the high quality of care, backed by their care advisory team, made up of leading figures in the United Kingdom Care Industry and business. The company uses data analysis and machine learning to be proactive to an individual’s health needs and provide the right care at the right time, identifying potential problems before they worsen. Edyn's dual specialisation in technology and physical care differentiates it in the industry, but may add challenges to product adoption.
