Elate is the dating app for serious relationships with no swiping, less ghosting, and fewer d*ckheads
50% female employees
Online dating is a $4 Billon industry where 45% of users are dissatisfied with their primary dating app. Elate is trying to fix that by tackling every bugbear of online daters, starting with ghosting.
Elate app is focused on curation rather than volume, unlike many of the leading dating apps. For example, in order to start talking to a new match, the users must first end an existing one, disincentivizing ghosting.
The online dating space is fiercely competitive and many startups have tried to break into the market, each with their own unique selling-point. To survive, Elate must ensure that they capitalise on the network effects of their user growth quickly such that they are no fad, but stay for the long-term.
The company has already attracted thousands of users. They are now gearing up for raising funding and a full launch.
