Our take

Eleanor Health is the first outpatient addiction and mental health provider offering comprehensive, “whole person” care solutions in communities that need it most. It works to transform the quality, delivery and accessibility of care for people affected by addiction.

Shockingly, only 1 in 10 people with substance use disorder and less than half with a mental health condition receive treatment. As a result Eleanor's services have accrued over 60,000 users who are seeing positive changes compared to the status quo. Eleanor reported 83% of members reported improvement in substance use and 77% reported reduced symptoms of depression.

Eleanor has built real momentum as it scales, closing two major funding rounds in 2024 and expanding into new states while striking major partnerships with insurers like Cigna and Evernorth. This growth has come with some readjustments however, including restructuring parts of its outreach operations, but it reflects a company refining how it expands while doubling down on its whole-person care model.
