Elucid Social concentrates on the pressing challenge of measuring and addressing social and health risks in global supply chains with it's digital solution. Small-scale producers, who make up 90% of these chains, often lack health insurance, perpetuating poverty and unsustainable practices like deforestation and child labour
Healthcare is a fundamental human right but also crucial in preventing financial hardship, many fall into extreme poverty annually due to health-related expenses. The platform offers a comprehensive dashboard for customers to implement and provide access to everything from data collection tools to an API Customer Impact Portal.
Since founding in 2022 the company has achieved several milestones, notably partnering with the FCA, aiming to implement health benefit programs in mining communities in the DRC. Recent funding will help Elucid to scale and further its reach, develop its team and enhance its offering. The collected data from the platform not only targets specific issues head on but also tackles the larger issue of social sustainability in supply chains as a whole.
