By focusing on small-medium-sized businesses, Employment Hero has had brilliant success with its product that eases the burden of being an employer. The company claims to reduce the time spent on HR admin by around 80%, a significant saving for businesses of this size.
Employment Hero is now looking to expand its growth in Southeast Asia and Europe as well as innovate its product, possibly using its impressive size to negotiate commercial benefits for employees. However, the company is likely to have to compete with a new generation of specialised startups like Hibob that are remote and data-driven, which presents an interesting challenge.
