Our take
The UK government wants eligible companies to take advantage of the generous R&D tax reliefs on offer, however, this can be a complex and confusing area with around 60% of eligible businesses unaware of the opportunity.
In response, EmpowerRD is attempting to change the way R&D tax credit claims are done. It focuses on developing technologies that simplify and automate the application process as much as possible allowing accounting and financial managers to claim with confidence.
The company’s broader ambition is to support companies across the world to unlock all funding that rewards innovation. R&D credits in particular are common to 30+ countries.
