To help developers escape the maze of complexity, and is building the must-have tools of the future for developers everywhere.
The market for development platforms is quickly becoming crowded, but many startups on the scene are catering to front rather than back-end teams. That’s not to say Encore is one of a kind, but the company is claiming to have built the first back-end development engine that enables developers to build scalable, distributed systems rapidly in the cloud.
It’s a big claim, but there’s no doubt that developers are in serious need of this kind of technology considering how much time they usually spend manually scaling up back-end systems while constantly shifting to cater for new product features.
This is a problem Encore’s founding quintet is all too familiar with, having worked on backend systems for the likes of Spotify, Google, and Monzo before deciding to take matters into their own hands. These are still early days for the 2021-founded startup, but with funding from Crane Venture Partners, it’s eyeing a scale-up.
