Our take

With the majority of salespeople believing that prospecting is the hardest part of the sales funnel, EngageTech sets out to help companies increase their sales performance by providing them with "purchase intent data". In short, the company uses insights to identify which companies in a target market are most likely to buy products, by identifying accounts that have existing pains or challenges that a client's solution can help with.

Through this approach, EngageTech can direct its clients to the prospects most likely to engage with their company, and give them the best contact information to reach them, therefore increasing sales. In addition to its sales intelligence platform, the company also provides both outsourced and managed SDR services, meaning it can support clients whether they solely want help managing their own prospecting efforts, or are seeking out full pipeline generation services.

EngageTech differentiates itself from competition through its combination of cutting-edge machine learning with AI and human assistance. Already counting Citrix, Amdaris, and Talkdesk among its clients, it has demonstrated good levels of success thus far, and will be interesting to watch as it further develops into the future.
