Enian's mission is to accelerate renewable energy development and investment.
The renewable energy market is one of razor-thin margins and, in order to maximise returns, businesses in this sector need to ensure that they are operating as efficiently as possible. This market-wide desire is what Enian is focusing on. Its flagship product - an interface containing financials, documents, tasks, and teams - allows renewable energy companies to keep track of large parts of their operations, all from one place.
This is a market which is only going to grow. Renewable energy capacity is set to expand 50% by 2024, led by solar energy. As more governments and companies start to see the future as driven by renewables, this predicted number could be set to get even bigger soon.
Workflow management software is, of course, not a new concept, with platforms such as Proofhub and Nintex commanding large market shares. However, unless other companies are able to tailor their software to renewable energy, Enian's direct competition remains relatively low. Enian's recent funding will be used to increase its engineering and business development teams in order to expand across Europe, the US and Asia.
