Our take
As more companies offer sustainable, eco-friendly products, it can feel like there’s an overabundance of disparate solutions. Enode aims to create an efficient digital ecosystem that can run a world powered solely by renewable energy.
It links sustainable products like electric vehicles, efficient thermostats, and more with energy providers via an API, helping businesses and consumers navigate sustainable digital products with ease. The software is compatible with hundreds of different hardware devices and offers a dashboard with charging information and energy prices, as well as a ‘smart charging’ optimisation option.
The company has grown hugely in the relatively short time since its conception, identifying a corner of the market in which it is positioned to lead the field. Backed by Y Combinator, Enode also boasts partnerships with electric charging companies such as Wallbox and huge energy providers like E-on and Bulb.
