To shape the world of unbiased hiring.
Hiring processes are currently extremely unfair, with applicants rejected based on subjective biases about their appearance or CVs. This is bad for the applicants and bad for businesses who miss out on the talents and passions that might have made them ideal fits for the job. Enter Equalture, a female-founded startup aiming to replace biased selection processes with science-based assessments.
While companies have used personality tests as part of the recruitment process for some time, these are easy for candidates to train for, are stressful and are culturally biased in their own way. Equalture's gamified solution stands apart: scientifically unbiased, impossible to train for and enjoyable, they provide a first impression of a candidate based on their potential rather than the gut feeling of a hiring manager.
Equalture raised 2022 funding in a seed round led by Shoe Investments. It is using this capital to expand its international customer base and to develop its product, adding new assessments to test candidates' fit for their clients' teams.
