To deliver transformative results for order fulfilment operations.
Warehouse fulfilment can be a time-pressured and exhausting atmosphere for workers. Exotec is a robotics company delivering automated software and hardware for the goods-to-person warehouse industry, aiming to alleviate the pressures for workers.
With a view to improving operational efficiency, resiliency, and warehouse working conditions, Exotec has developed conveyor belt systems, in-house transport systems, and workstations that reduce the energy exerted by human workers. Its flagship product, the Skypod, is an autonomous mobile robot programmed to deliver goods from shelves to workers. It prioritises the most urgent orders received on the warehouse’s systems, maximising efficiency.
Exotec’s has some big-name clients, fulfilling warehouse management needs for the likes of Decathlon and Uniqlo. Considerable funding has accelerated its expansion from Europe into the US, with the company predicting that by 2025, the US market will amount to a third of its sales. It has also made inroads into Japan with new partnerships with integrated logistics provider Alps Logistics and fulfilment service acca International.
