Our take
While there has been lots of innovation in healthcare in recent history, it's such a huge industry that there are still so many areas that remain relatively untouched. Helping healthcare professionals make smarter, more data-driven decisions is one of those areas.
Health and activity data are often stuck in unconnected silos, which makes them difficult to unite and use in a secure, controlled and privacy-preserving way. Fitfile is building a platform that delivers real-world evidence at a patient level, enabling those professionals to make smarter decisions more quickly than they can today. This data is sensitive, and it's also important that patient confidentiality is protected. With data being very messy today, it's very easy for mistakes to be made.
Fitfile is also tackling this challenge with its product InsightFILE, which is driven by GDPR-compliant anonymisation and unification across data sources, using encrypted ciphertext technology. Overall, they have great potential to make a product that transforms the way millions of healthcare professionals function.
