Our take

Modern marketing strategies rely on the collection of customer data such as their satisfaction with a product, how they discovered it, and where they purchased it. Whilst this can be achieved through cookies and other data collection methods, such solutions present significant privacy challenges, making proprietary user-provided data a far more viable option.

Fairing, previously Enquire Labs, provides a direct-from-consumer data platform for E-commerce marketing, allowing businesses to ask their customer's post-purchase questions to fuel their marketing strategies. Customers are prompted to answer questions within surveys upon completion of their purchase through a web-integrated tool, the answers to which are immediately returned for analysis.

Whilst cookies still dominate the digital marketing sector, Fairing has presented the foresight to recognize that the associated privacy challenges require innovative solutions. Through its real-time customer-generated data approach, the company claims that it can provide all the information E-commerce brands need for their marketing strategies without risking the breach of data compliance regulations.
