We're working on an intelligent and composable manufacturing execution system, that means software and hardware working together in perfect harmony. It means making an incredibly powerful system flexible enough to support all use-cases, at the same time as maintaining usability. The challenge in the product team is to appreciate that in manufacturing contexts one size does not fit all, and still work to do our best work in new customer contexts. We're a small and nimble team, dare I say it the most nimble I've worked with. We've maintained a hacker ethos in all we do, and that lets us be faster than everyone else. The team is trusted to deliver their best, and help or expertise from leadership is always there when you need it.

Leadership have clear expertise and understanding of the market Ferry operates in. The product team is highly experienced in working through complex design, frontend and backend requirements and knocking them out quickly with the right tradeoffs along the way. Intelligence goes beyond the academics. The team is thoughtful during trying times and good health is encouraged and supported through more ways than your typical startup.

The work we're doing is hoping to change the way not only new manufacturers run their lines, but the large well-established players of yore. The work we're doing is able to help manufacturers assess not only what's going wrong, but when they're reducing their waste, increasing yield, or even when to give operators holidays after a particularly tough period. We're close to the customers, and we're learning every day.
