Flipdish aims to put cafés, restaurants, and take-aways in full control of their business

Flipdish sets out to be the one-stop ordering system for restaurants and hospitality brands. Its digital ordering and marketing software system helps to build brand strength, increase profit, and convert one-off customers into regulars, allowing clients to focus on the food.
To do this, Flipdish works with a wide range of different courier partners to complete deliveries, including Ziticity, Stuart, and even drone delivery system Manna Aero. By charging a low commission fee of just 7% plus 50p order fee, Flipdish is a financially attractive option for clients, as well as being highly efficient.
Flipdish is now one of the fastest-expanding European tech companies, helping to put more and more hospitality brands-regardless of their size- in control of their business growth. Throughout each of the previous few years, Flipdish trebled in size and is looking to continue this exponential growth and develop an international presence.

Conor McCarthy
(Co-founder & CEO)Conor gained experience as a Software Developer before serving as CEO of SawdeeSoft and Director of Isoplay. He co-founded Flipdish in January 2015 with James, and has served as CEO since.
James McCarthy
(Co-Founder)Founded the e-commerce business, ChrismasShirts.com, in 2013 which he worked at for 4 years. Alongside co-founding Flipdish, James has founded Cuebald for Cancer and raised thousands of euros for their cause since 2011.
Declan joined Flipdish as Sales Manager in January 2016 after over 3 years as an Area Sales Manager at Just-Eat. He was promoted to Country Manager of Ireland in October 2020.

There's a massive amount of trust between employer and employee at Flipdish. There needs to be when you're a remote-first company. This trust allows you the flexibility to work in an extremely autonomous way. Whether you need to do school drop off in the morning, and work a bit later, or you need to clear your head with a two hour walk at lunch, as long as you are executing and communicating your schedule with your team, it's all good. The culture is one of transparency and candid communication. We set goals and desired outcomes constantly so there's little micromanagement. Having this sort of autonomy actually makes me more effective and productive overall.

I can honestly say that every single person at Flipdish is lovely! I know that sounds so corny but it really is true. During my 1st week of training so many people reached out to me to welcome me to the company, they scheduled in coffee breaks to say hi, we all have a buddy to talk too and everyone is so open and honest and super friendly.
