Float Health is a healthcare technology startup that provides a platform for available nurses to work on a temporary, or "float" basis shifts in home medication visits. The platform matches nurses to open shifts based on their availability, location, and skills, allowing staffing gaps to be filled quickly and efficiently, while also providing nurses with more flexibility and control over their schedules.
By providing nurses with more control over their schedules and options to work on a temporary basis, they can take maintain a better work-life balance, which in turn improves the healthcare industry as a whole. Alongside this, by providing more at-home nurses, patients no longer need to visit overcrowded hospitals, instead they receive personalized, private healthcare.
Float Health was part of the Y Combinator W22 roster and is now looking to scale its operations. The company is growing quickly and the team are focused on expanding its product offerings in order to keep up with demands while also accelerating its business.
