However, many Medicaid users face challenges with enrolment and recertification when using the software associated with the medical insurance package - with these issues contributing significantly to disenrollment rates.
Fortuna Health is on a mission to remedy these online navigation issues, creating a consumer-first platform that helps users navigate their Medicaid packages end-to-end, from eligibility forms to renewing existing coverage. The platform tackles many specific problems with current systems, such as overlong applications and fluctuating renewal dates, that can cause confusion to enrolees.
Fortuna's solutions support both simple and complex eligibility screenings, working in 7 different languages and boasting 3rd party integrations. With these features, the company addresses accessibility issues that affect user’s health and well-being, and support heightened revenue for partner providers. Armed with 2023 seed funding, the company plans to expand across several states and forge new partnerships with care organisations and health systems.
