Our take

International payments traditionally involve expensive costs and slow transfer periods, making them largely inaccessible for smaller businesses. Freemarket aims to challenge such banking standards by providing a platform that grants SMEs greater access to currency exchanges and cross-border payments to allow users of the Freemarket's services to focus on business development and generating maximum revenue.

Freemarket have already helped SMEs by providing affordable exchange costs, resulting in a significantly more currency exchanges in EUR and USD. Having joined the Banking Circle in 2018, Freemarket were also able to widen their user base by extending their services to marketplace sellers. In the future, as part of their expansion, Freemarket look to extending their services into blockchain and ledger technology.
