Freeway Camper's mission is to drive the digitalization of the camping market.
For something that’s so simple in theory, the logistics of camping can make it a pretty difficult excursion. FreewayCamper is aiming to make it a more accessible activity through its online marketplace, which chiefly allows users to rent campervans and other motor homes, while also allowing them to book campsites in a growing number of locations throughout Europe.
On top of this, the platform has also expanded into a place to purchase camping vehicles outright. Though only founded in late 2019, the expansion of FreewayCamper’s product offering as well as its geographical footprint reflects the company’s status as Europe’s fastest-growing camping startup.
The scalability of the company’s model is a cause for optimism, particularly on the B2B front: The more popular the platform becomes, the more attractive it will be to campsite and vehicle fleet operators as an additional revenue stream. Indeed, the fact that it’s secured tens of millions in funding to fuel its European expansion shows that investors have bought into the FreewayCamper’s vision.
