Freightsafe's mission is to build and scale the future of truck parking.
Freightsafe has identified a flaw in the operations of the majority of logistics companies: subpar parking standards for drivers who are mandated to park each day, as well as a mass shortage of parking areas. This leads to greater risk of theft, too many driving hours, and too few drivers.
Freight trucking is a more than $2 trillion industry, but it’s in serious need of modernisation, particularly in light of the rising running costs for the supply chain industry as a whole. In partnership with Bosch, Freightsafe is building a network of smart trailer parking hubs across Europe, where drivers can securely park for the night, recharge or exchange trailers.
The company is the product of six years worth of research into the truck parking ecosystem by CEO Charlie Anderson, and it’s already built a small but growing number of facilities in Europe. It’s still early days, but the partnership with Bosch could be huge as Freighstafe looks to scale quickly on the continent.
