Our take
Whilst many people want to start learning guitar, their enthusiasm can quickly retract due to the difficult and boring music theory associated with the instrument’s steep learning curve. Whilst online video tutorials aim to make this process more engaging, these generally lack a unified syllabus which can lead to a compromised understanding of the instrument.
Fretello provides a mobile application for learning guitar, offering users step-by-step interactive lessons within syllabuses that have been curated by guitar experts. Lessons are designed to encourage users to practice by learning their favorite songs from day one, using audio recognition technology to provide real-time feedback on the users playing accuracy.
Despite there being many guitar learning mobile applications on the market, Fretello has ensured that it stands out through its unique approach to engaging students through the love of their favorite songs. Furthermore, the real-time feedback feature is one that is unique to the application, presenting an affordable tutorship solution to those unable to afford one-to-one guitar lessons.
