Frog App is a Gen Z-targeted social networking app founded by two ex-students of the London School of Economics. It was conceived from their first-hand knowledge of what young people want from their social media apps today: genuine, authentic connections.
The app stands out for enabling real friends to share stories together using its SEQUELs feature, without the option of filters, both literal and metaphorical. The app incorporates a ‘SUP’ feature - enabling users to create unfiltered video stories that can be shared publicly or privately to friends on the app - to facilitate genuine interactions between friends online.
The company has been organising SUPmarket pop-ups across university campuses, including one held at London’s Piccadilly Circus, which became a viral sensation on TikTok. Its socially conscious mission for safer social media, coupled with recent publicity, and further plans in the future puts Frog in a promising position.
