Future Finance

Joining Future has been a whirlwind in the best way. In the past 8 months, I have learned more and been exposed to more than the past 2 years in my previous company whist been given a chance to prove myself in leading projects.

Projects in FinTech move fast and Future is no exception. Being given the opportunity to lead new projects and contribute to existing has been eye-opening and provided a wealth of knowledge

The moves Future wants to make in the upcoming months means that all teams need to work together to get the best possible outcome and I have no doubt that we will do so as everyone is dedicated to our success and this is demonstrated every day in our interactions

It's a great team to work with, communication is easy and the managers/leaders are open to hear and in fact encourage to share ideas and think out of the box, which makes work more interesting.

We are allowed to test any interesting ideas that we come up with and if we show results and are able to defend it, it gets implemented, which makes work more challenging and fun.

I did not have much Python experience when I started, my colleagues have been very helpful and I have picked up a couple of things quickly. Also, we have regular stand ups where we get a picture of what type of tasks each role has and their struggles.

Epitome of Fintech. Fast and innovative with excellent ideals and the will to become and make a difference. FF create and make a difference and are led by a superb management full of experience and drive. Get up and go forward is always on the menu.

I have been in Fintech for 12 plus years and have good knowledge of what works, what doesn't and it's clear to me that FF are heading forward and definitely into the future.

Fantastic management team to work with who are full of enthusiasm and drive. From the moment I stepped into the office I could sense the excitement of making a difference. The energy is amazing and flows through everyone.

I consider myself to be highly ambitious so it was important to join a company that could help me to grow and develop. In my first week, I was given responsibility of leading a key project across the business. I have also been taught programming languages by management as I had a desire to develop my data and analytics skills.

I thrive when challenged so working with like-minded individuals at Future Finance enables me to embrace change, perform at my best and develop my skillset.

Senior management are easy to talk to and are always open to listen to my opinions and consider them when making decisions that impact me or my team.

The workforce is really diverse with regards to different experience levels and industry experience meaning different perspectives are a driving force in the direction the company takes and in my opinion why they are succeeding.

Since joining I have had the opportunity to develop my skills in several areas not necessarily specific to my job role within the company which is great but also have been able learn a variety of transferrable skills. Within the operations department, engaging with a variety of managers through meetings and training sessions has not only developed my skills but has given me more confidence in my own ability to effectively do my job.

As a graduate, I was given sufficient opportunity to upskill in key areas (such as Google Analytics) in order to hone my Marketing skills. This was all done during working hours with the support of my manager.

I am not unnecessarily micromanaged; I am given the freedom to manage my workload (which includes opportunities to upskill) independently and also allowed to choose which projects to work on, within reason. Furthermore, the company is very good at facilitating remote working.

Everyone at Future Finance is very friendly and helpful! The culture is conducive to collaboration, as well as question asking (e.g. via Slack), so that you never feel as if you are working in a silo!

Future Finance is innovative and celebrates people making an impact. I've been give great opportunities to get involved in new areas of the business based on my capabilities. Future Finance is a place to be fully engaged in the success of the company.

Future Finance consistently has ExCo members of different backgrounds. For a significant period we have had a female CEO and our last 4 CEO's have had 4 different nationalities. This is a company that doesn't push diversity, it just looks for the best of the best and ends up with all backgrounds at all levels.

Future Finance is the kind of company that is focussed on your collaboration and contribution, not your title or level. People use names not titles, and you can get involved in projects where you add value. This leads to a place we love to work.

Future Finance is constantly evolving and changing as a business, which means as a company we are constantly learning and improving the way we work. This leads to not only company growth, but employee growth as well.

Joining a new company can be scary, but the welcome I got from the colleagues here made the whole process so much easier! We are all friendly and welcoming people, working towards the collective goal of providing a great service to our customers.
