Our take
Due to time, language barrier, transport and financial constraints, many Medicaid users in America find it difficult to actually see a doctor for their ailments. Galileo was founded by Thomas Lee as a digital and in person strategy to improve medical care and customer service, providing communication with medical practitioners and aiming for faster medical access than other Medicaid packages can offer.
Utilising not only medical but software expertise, Galileo not only provides 24 hour access to medical professionals for its users, but also consults with businesses and medical care packages to ensure the best care models for their respective customers too.
In order to boost their network, the company recently announced their partnership with Wellcare. As part of this, they will offer Wellcare Medicare Advantage members access to Galileo's expert primary and multispecialty care providers.
