Geojam's mission is to connect fans to their favourite artists, and to allow its users to experience music together.
Geojam is a rewards-based music engagement platform hoping to change the way artists and fans interact. Users earn points, called $JAM tokens, through sharing content, and these rewards can be exchanged for prizes that include exclusive artist experiences.
The COVID-19 pandemic period saw the music industry, financially hobbled by the prohibition of in-person events, turn to digital transformation to stay afloat. Geojam’s digital approach may prove astutely in-tune with the industry sea change. It certainly appears to have proven appealing to the emerging artists joining the platform through the company’s onboarding initiative.
Geojam offers an advertiser an independent way of broadening their reach, as fans can essentially ‘bid’ for prizes by competitively accruing reward points through sharing content.
