Our take
Imagine marrying the apps, Dice, Hinge and Citymapper - you’d come out with an all-encompassing city guide with socialising at its heart. Geometrik is a newly founded company that wants to connect users to their city and friends. The soon-to-launch app is the solution to all last-minute plan makers.
Like Hinge, the app detects which of your friends are close by, view all real-time availability for pubs, restaurants and more in locations customers want to explore. Customers have full control over the app with security features like going offline so friends can’t track locations.
The company also plans to work with businesses, gaining exclusive deals for Geometrik users and creating a loyalty program giving more exposure to businesses that want to drive customers. The plans for the new app are very exciting, the first city the app will launch in is London so we look forward to seeing how it goes down with customers in its initial stages.
