Impact funds provide a valuable service by investing in startups that seek to make a positive change in the world. Giant Ventures is one such fund, focused on technology founders who are making change in the areas of climate, health, or making capitalism more inclusive.
With offices in London, Los Angeles and Copenhagen, it has its finger on the pulse of the global tech startup ecosystem. Giant leads seed funding rounds and makes $5-15 million investments in purpose driven companies. It has invested in dozen of successful ventures, including the world's first mental health tech unicorn, Calm.
In an exciting move, Giant Ventures has recently started working with a new venture partner (Former Bulb boss Hayden Wood) to find new socially-driven tech startups to invest in and support the companies already in its portfolio. With a proven track record of success it will be exciting to see which companies Giant Ventures supports next.
