Our take

While school sports are popular in the US, school teams often lack the time or ability needed to create content that will reach and engage fans on social media. This leads to a large amount of time spent producing marketing content or lost revenue in ticket and merchandise sales. Gipper exists to rectify this situation, providing a suite of content tools that allow teams and schools to create professional branded content for marketing in just a few clicks.

Despite the interest in school sports, there is little competition in this space, and Gipper has moved quickly to develop a strong foothold. It counts over three thousand schools as customers and has been used to create more than half a million graphics for K-12 sporting teams across the United States.

Gipper has recently closed a Series A funding round led by Telescope. This investment will be used to develop its product with more collaborative tools and to expand its marketing reach. The company also intends to increase its headcount as it prepares to scale its operations.
