Our take

As the tourism industry continues to expand, the luxury hotel industry grows alongside it, but with this growth comes ever-changing consumer demands – specifically a want for digital experiences. Glowing provides an AI-based, omni-channel messaging platform for guests to interact with the hotels they are staying at; allowing hotels to reduce the time and money spent on guest transactions, whilst making their processes more efficient and effective.

Glowing was founded to solve interruptions in the enjoyment of hotel guests that are caused by them having to seek out or wait for staff. Its platform automates conversations with guests, and the task requests that are generated by these interactions – for example, providing another drink at the pool – to create seamless experiences that boost enjoyment and give a premium edge to their client’s venues. The customer experiences provided by glowing are brand-differentiated and include workflows for recovering from negative guest experiences as well as quick surveys that can be sent out to gauge guest satisfaction levels.

Glowing serves globally recognised luxury brands such as Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and the Rosewood Hotel Group. The company is Ycombinator backed and continues to add new features to its platform to improve utility for clients.
