Company mission

To support and encourage adults in every city to combine regular exercise with helping isolated and older people and community projects.

Our take

GoodGym is a social startup based in East London with operations across the UK, combining physical fitness with community engagement. The company's core mission to connect individuals who run, walk or cycle with local community projects that require additional helping hands.

This initiative channels the energy exerted during exercise towards meaningful social contributions, cultivating a sense of belonging among participants while addressing community needs. Particularly noteworthy is GoodGym's impact on asylum seekers in Luton, enabling them to establish connections with locals, participate in communal initiatives, and ultimately enhance their integration experience.

Even in the face of challenges such as member fluctuations, GoodGym remains resilient. Beyond the tangible improvements it brings to communities, GoodGym's ethos of merging physical fitness with social betterment has left its mark, fostering a spirit of inclusivity and unity among participants. This dedication has seen the launch of new initiatives in Nottingham and a partnership with Raleigh.
