Company mission

To tackle the green skills emergency by powering 10 million people into green jobs in 10 years.

Our take

Greenworkx has noticed a green skills emergency; in order to reach net-zero and prevent climate breakdown, 30 million more green workers are needed globally.

The start-up is building an app that serves as the talent portal for green jobs, where jobseekers can learn practical green skills and get matched to green opportunities. The company is in its infancy, founded in 2022, and is still developing its product that plans to serve jobseekers, training providers and employers.

Greenworkx is positioned for exciting possibilities as it hopes to address a glaring social issue with an impressive founding team. This includes CEO, Matt Ilic, who has served as Special Advisor for the Prime Minister and has seen previous success in social impact work as Chief Development Officer for Catch22.
