Grip has developed a collaborative way of working, where all teams are encouraged to give input along the way, meaning that many features change along their development life cycle and end up better than at conception. Most of the work I am given is new feature development, where I am given the freedom to develop the feature the way I think is best, with more senior members of the team there to guide me if I need it.
