To enable the most transparent interview practices on the planet and set a new standard for candidate experience.
In 2021, venture investors funnelled more than $12.3 billion into HR tech startups, roughly 3.6 times the amount invested in 2020. Part of that influx has been due to what commentators have called the ‘Great Resignation’ - a pandemic-fuelled shift in the labour market towards employees volunteering resigning and the competition for hiring intensifying.
In response to these trend Guide has also soared. The startup has created an online hub for candidates where companies can post videos, documents and links about their team and the role in question. In a highly competitive market, Guide’s unique channel for candidate communication stands out.
The startup is now focused on onboarding new customers as well as pursuing further integrations with other HR tech players like Applicant Tracking Systems.
The question will be whether the enthusiasm for Guide’s services continue in a different macroeconomic environment. Ultimately, Guide believes that it can win. Its platform offers an alternative, human and empowering service making it a fundamentally different (and cheaper!) alternative to external recruiters.
