Gun.io uses its talent matching algorithms and a team of senior engineers to vet its candidates, and is able to reduce the time-to-hire to less than two weeks. This, and its global reach, helps it stand apart from other freelance agencies. This has helped it amass over 25,000 professionals using its platform and built it a client base of more than 250 companies including the likes of Amazon, Tesla and Cisco.
Having raised significant funding in 2022, Gun.io is working to further develop its platform, aiming to increase the speed of its hiring process, add recommendations for competitive salaries to help attract and retain talent, and offering mentorship programs for its freelancers. It is also planning to grow its market presence with the aim of transforming the tech recruiting landscape.
