To make art accessible to everyone, by engaging with and innovating within all aspects of its creation and distribution.
Motivated by a belief that art is essential to the human spirit, HENI wants to make it available to as many people as possible. The international arts technology business strives to do so by working with artists and their estates across publishing, printmaking, digital, film, and art research and analysis.
Founded in 2009, HENI has become a mini-conglomerate with multiple platforms: HENI Leviathan, News, Art Club, Editions, Publishing, Talks, Analytics, and Digital. As a collective, visitors are able to engage with all aspects of art’s creation and distribution. In 2022, HENI became the first NFT project to use Chainlink oracles for pricing ‘The Currency’ - a collection of 10,000 NFTS corresponding to 10,000 artworks by Damien Hirst - an initiative whereby collectors could keep either the NFT or the artwork, the one not chosen ultimately being burnt.
Looking ahead, HENI will continue to grow its services and offerings to get closer to its goal of better public access to art. HENI introduced HENI News in the 2020s, a rolling feed of art news. This ongoing project is just one of HENI's innovations, as the team continues to revolutionize the digital art world.
