Our take
Hero Health is an online solution aimed at improving patient access to private healthcare providers and helping them to manage bookings, take payments, and offer additional benefits to patients.
It works by converting EMIS Web, the clinical record system used by 60% of NHS GPs, for use within the private sector via a plug-in which provides a full suite of financial tools for running a private practice. It also serves as a marketplace for patients to search for supported private healthcare providers in their area.
Hero Health currently works with private GPs in London, Oxford and Guildford, but also provides solutions for mental health practices, NHS GPs, secondary care, and Allied Health providers.
